JOB DESCRIPTION:

Company providing the leading edge in interactive marketing is seeking a Sr. Level Oracle Software Engineer.

We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Software Engineer with a passion to work with high volume data and who can make a difference in our Data Services Team.  The principal software engineer will be responsible for key projects and will work across organizations to complete projects. He / she will be a role model for other team members and will mentor junior colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for “all things data” in the engineering organization.
• Implementation of new features, performance tuning and troubleshooting of production issues.  
• Will work as part of the larger team as well as an independent contributor.

Qualifications:

• Expert in Data modeling.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience in database development using SQL &  PL/SQL in Oracle.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle RAC database architecture.
• Expert in Oracle database design and performance tuning.
• Experience with Shell / Perl scripting in Unix or Linux environment..
• Experience with MySQL and other database technologies
• Exposure to Java / J2EE.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree.
