JOB DESCRIPTION:

Profitable rapdily growing Internet Gaming company seeks a talented Game Artist for downloadable games.

We are looking for an extremely creative and skilled individual who is highly proficient with a 3D modeling program such as Maya or Rhino.

The task will be to create high-quality 3D assets for use in a 2D animation engine with the ability to do captivating particle effects, animation, and storytelling.

You will collaborate with our producer and creative director to create innovative graphics that push the envelope for a fun, new, broadly appealing games for the downloadable PC environment.


* Develop all graphics and animated characters for 3D-look downloadable C++ game in 2D.
* Design and produce appealing and user-friendly game devices, environments and interfaces.
* Produce all artwork within technical and design parameters.
* Work smoothly with engineers and producers in a technical environment.
* Deliver all art assets on time.
* Create really cool, fun art and designs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be proficient in 3D modeling and rendering program.
* Top-notch artistic and creative skills.
* Thorough understanding of art production processes for downloadable games.
* Proficient in Photoshop.
* Minimum 3 years experience producing computer game art.
* Minimum 2 years formal art and graphics software training.
* Understanding of file size optimization.
* Character and cartooning skills preferred.
* Experience designing User Interfaces a big plus.
* Must be organized and systematic in approach to tasks.
* Strong, open communications skills required.
* Requires positive attitude for an energetic start-up environment.
