Position Title: Business Continuity | Disaster Recovery | Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Seeking skilled Project Manager with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience.
Will focus efforts on planning, developing, coordinating and managing the disaster recovery and business continuity.
This is part of a multi-phase project focused on understanding business requirements for business continuity, inventorying existing disaster recovery capability, identifying and reporting gaps to management, planning project(s) to implement missing disaster recovery capability, and managing the implementation projects themselves.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a broad understanding of technologies, a demonstrated ability to work across infrastructure support groups in order to leverage existing tools, technologies, and processes with the overall goal of meeting business requirements and containing on-going support costs.

Other qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, business administration or related field and/or 5-10 years experience in an Information Technology field.
Project Manager - Minimum of three-five years .
Direct experience with Data Center and Networking technologies and operations required.
Direct supervisory experience desired.

Excellent management skills; including ability to create and implement detailed project plans, setting and meeting goals and deliverables, set task priorities, provide follow-through, be organized and provide analysis.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and motivate a group of technical professionals.

Understanding of Data Center aspects such as System and Database administration, Storage Management, Backup/Recovery technologies desired.

Ability to develop best practices processes and gain buy-in from all affected constituents required.

Demonstrated highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, including work with both information technology professionals and business customers; strong written and verbal skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment - participate as a team member, lead cross-functional teams, resolve conflict, negotiate, listen and synthesize information.

Analytical ability, including the ability to think systematically and to clearly articulate and effectively advocate sound solutions to complex problems.

Ability to work in complex, diverse office environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Ability to work effectively with a minimum of direction.
