We have an immediate opening for a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to Support Manufacturing Operations process, cost and yield improvements for released products and manufacturing preparedness for new product introductions for a top tier storage company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Participate in new product planning, execution and release methodologies.
*Develop and execute manufacturing plans, process instructions, yield and repair reports.
*Develop Manufacturing Test Scripts to ensure out-going product quality.
*Analyze, trend and communicate yield results and defect analysis for in-house and CM production.
*Develop trouble shooting repair guide for process and field returns.
*Provide technical support for production process and direct labor workforce
*Perform DFM reviews of hardware design and documentation.
*Complete new component qualification testing for released products.
*Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement on supplier and CM selection and qualification.
*Manufacturing representative for agency inspections by UL and TUV.

Qualifications:
*8+ years prior experience in Manufacturing Engineering environments with in-house manufacturing.
*Demonstrated knowledge of the Hardware Development Life Cycle.
*Proficient with Linux command-line and Perl programming.
*Experience working with and trouble shooting server and drive technology.
*Logical thinking with a desire to do root-cause analysis.
*Prior experience with small companies and/or projects with dynamic schedules.
*Experience working with overseas suppliers and contract manufactures.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good working relationships.
*Strong internal and external customer support focus.
*Experience with a fast-paced startup environment and willing to multi-task.
*Strong motivation, self-confidence, and sense of ownership.

EDUCATION:
* Bachelors or equivalent
